New Ulm EDA shields landlord from failed HUD inspection by rescheduling — bypassing official record of non-compliance.
So, the federally contracted housing authority, New Ulm EDA, just finally showed up after over a year of knowing that this unit is non-compliant with state and federal law. It's the same racist from recertification who intentionally refused my federal right to have a copy of a form I requested after she tricked me into signing it by telling me that it was something that it wasn't and that it was mandatory when it wasn't—the one that New Ulm EDA Housing Coordinator Heather Bregel protected instead of me, when it's her job to ensure that my rights as a participant are protected.
These racists are incredible.
There was no water when she arrived; that's a failed inspection.
There was no working fire detectors when she arrived; that's a failed inspection.
She wouldn't do anymore inspection—she insisted that she had to reschedule because she cannot test the water pressure and fire detectors wouldn't work. No she had to reschedule because she's a racist criminal that would not hold another racist criminal accountable by doing her job to enforce HUD regulation for the protection of a black victim.
The fire detectors have been broken since summer 2024. I'm the one who called for their repair. There is video of Steve Carson, the inspector for the city, admitting on November 14, 2024, that he ordered the property to repair the smoke detectors on September 20, 2024. Rick Newmann, the property manager and maintenance man, admitted he had not done it and had not attempted to do it. Despite the property failing to do so by November 2024, the city reinstated Don Klyberg's real estate license in December 2024. At that point, there was a fire that could have killed me, and there was no smoke detector.
I don't even care about a smoke detector; it's about the fact that there is an apartment manager who will not provide repairs in my unit because I will not provide sexual conduct and romance to him. As a result, I'm living in a house of horrors, facing daily debilitating psychological stress, isolation, physical injuries, financial damages, and thousands of dollars in destroyed property. I cannot move safely without records of this, and these damned people keep hiding what is happening to me and refusing to create records, which is trapping me in the violence and destruction. They know it.
I have been trying to move since August 20, 2024—over a year ago. I have already been literally beaten and nearly stabbed in the rental office, and these demons won't do anything because they cannot blame me, the Black person, for anything. They refuse to hold the man accountable just because he's white. They're clearly not going to stop this until my only options are a hospital, prison, or graveyard.
There is so much evidence I don't even have the health to get it all online, and yet I'm stuck because of the criminality, which is the Minnesota paradox.
Fire detectors are an automatic 24-hour HUD violation inspection, and yet the woman said she had to reschedule my inspection because she could not blame him. She attempted to blame me for taking them down.
She refused to tell me the procedure for a failed inspection and lied, saying she doesn't know what happens if a unit fails inspection. She continued to try to tell me what works and that I'm going to fail for her assumption that I removed the fire alarms.
I specifically asked her: "Are you trying to allow this property more time than they're allotted to make vanity repairs when this unit is evidently in violation of HUD minimal mandates?" She kept saying it's because she has to check the water pressure, even though there was no water pressure because the water was turned off—that's the pressure, none.
I video recorded it all. Once again, everyone but me—the victim of criminal activity—was paid for their work on Monday and Tuesday, and now, because of their crimes, I am required to redo my Tuesday again on Wednesday. This is how these racists are stealing Black wealth. And it's not a small deal; the accumulation of this prevailing culture has created a 90% racial wealth gap between Black lives and white lives in the state—criminals and thieves.
I'm tired! God knows I'm tired, and my humanity is in jeopardy—how I see others, how I respond to their suffering, how I treat the value of another life, empathy, sympathy, and compassion is in jeopardy because they won't stop abusing me and no one will protect me nor allow me to protect myself.
What if I just stop praying for God to keep me from doing to others as they have done to me? What is sexual harassment, illness, no doctor, chronic theft and destruction of their property, beatings, near stabbings, choking on the smell of standing animal waste, covered in fleas, flies, beetles, and roaches, and destruction of their bodies and their families while life passes them by until they end up in the hospital, prison, or graveyard without anyone blinking an eye, unless they could say they deserved it because I prayed for them? Where would they be then? I promise to God I am tired of this systemic abuse that all these paid people are not only ignoring, they’re hiding!
